About the event
Join us for an Interactive Session on Recognizing Mental Health and Holiday Grief
The holiday season is often seen as a time of joy, celebration, and togetherness. However, it’s important to acknowledge that this time of year can also bring about feelings of grief, loneliness, and heightened mental health challenges. I’m creating a safe space to discuss these important topics and provide support for those who may be struggling.
Date: Sunday Dec 3, 2023
During this interactive session, we will explore the significance of recognizing mental health and holiday grief. We will discuss the various emotions that can arise during this time and explore healthy coping mechanisms to navigate through them.
Our aim is to create an open and inclusive environment where everyone feels heard, understood, and supported.
Topics we will cover include:
- Identifying signs of holiday grief and mental health challenges
- Understanding the impact of grief during the holiday season
- Sharing personal experiences and stories
- Exploring coping strategies and self-care practices
- Building a support network and seeking help when needed
This session is not just for those experiencing grief or mental health challenges themselves, but also for friends, family members, and allies who want to learn how to be supportive during this time.
Spread the word, invite your loved ones, and let’s make this holiday season a time of compassion, understanding, and healing. We look forward to seeing you there!
